BABINA Diagnostics on Thursday announced that it is offering free testing for the general public in celebration of 41 Years of Excellence in Medical Diagnostics.
The free testing which include Kidney Screening Test (Urea and Creatinine) and Diabetes Screening Test (Blood Glucose- Fasting or Random) will be offered, on the occasion of the 41st Foundation Day of BABINA Diagnostics, to be celebrated on Saturday, stated a release.
The tests will be conducted between 7 am to 2 pm on the said day at BABINA Diagnostics, Main Lab, Soibam Leikai, Imphal East, it stated.
Established in 1983, BABINA diagnostics has evolved from a modest clinical laboratory into a state-of-the art diagnostic Centre renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation, it mentioned.
It also said that chief consultant pathologist and managing director of BABINA diagnostics Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh, expressed gratitude to the various health service providers and the people of the region for the remarkable journey.
He also thanked the staff for their pivotal role in growth and success of the organisation, and stressed the importance of providing affordable diagnostic facilities to the people of the Northeast, ensuring the widest range of diagnostic tests are accessible to everyone, it asserted.
It noted that BABINA Diagnostics achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first laboratory in the Northeast to be accredited by NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) in 2007.
It serves over three lakh patients annually and consistently adapted to the dynamic landscape of medical diagnostics and will continue to do so in future, it added.
