The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Tamenglong College on Tuesday conducted a one-day legal awareness on the new three criminal laws which were enforced on July 1.
The workshop began with opening remarks from the Tamenglong college principal Kinthuijinang Maremmei.
The main part of the event was a thorough deliberation on the new three laws Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam by the resource persons.
Assistant professor David J Kamei, assistant professor Daidatlung Kameih and Ringsinrei Gonmei were the resource persons for the event.
The whole proceeding was moderated by Km Pouhimdailiu KG and the workshop concluded with the act of gratitude by the coordinator, IQAC, Tamenglong College. The workshop was attended by staff and students of the college.
