The Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) on Tuesday emphasized on ‘PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna’ flagship scheme and appealed to all to avail the benefits of the scheme.
A notification issued by MSPDCL Managing director, H Shantikumar Singh, highlighted the benefits of the flagship scheme which was launched by the Prime Minister on February 29, with an aim to increase solar rooftop capacity and to provide free electricity to households across the country.
It also notified that MSPDCL will be the implementing agency of the flagship programme in Manipur. It appealed to all consumers of MSPDCL to apply for the same via National Online Portal ‘www.https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in.’
It also stated that interested vendors can also apply for the scheme via the mentioned national portal and informed to deposit a cash of rupees 2.5 lakh as Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) during registration.
