The Aurora Club and Library, Laipham Khunou, announced its readiness to extend all possible assistance to village volunteers across Manipur, provided they request support.
This announcement was made on Sunday during an initiative led by social worker N Dilip, as the club distributed essential aid to village volunteers in Phayeng and Pallel.
The assistance, which included monetary support, was given in recognition of the crucial role these volunteers have played since the onset of the ongoing conflict involving Kuki insurgency in Manipur, said general secretary of the Aurora Club and Library N Borun.
The volunteers have been instrumental in safeguarding their communities during these challenging times, he said emphasising the club’s commitment to supporting the volunteers.
