Considering the surge in COVID-19 infection, COB Motbung of Jwalamukhi Battalion under the aegis of 22 Sector AR, IGAR (East) conducted an awareness drive on COVID-19 in Kangpokpi and Imphal West districts. The drive focused on reaching out to far-flung villages to keep the villagers updated with the COVID-19 related guidelines and advisories. Later, face masks were provided to the villagers and encouraged to get vaccinated at the earliest. The list of eligible vaccination centres in the district was also provided to the chiefs of various villages.
