The Loktak Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Churachandpur sector conducted a career counseling lecture for the students of Seventh-Day Adventists School at P Gelmol village under Churachandpur district on Friday.

A release stated that the lecture was conducted with the aim to educate the youths and make them aware of various streams, vocational training and varied career avenues available in present global environment. The students were also briefed on the higher educational schemes undertaken by the state and central government for upliftment of education system in the society.
A total of 145 students, including the teaching staff voluntarily attended the interactive lecture, the release added.
