AR interacts with NSF Union Ukhrul

The Assam Rifles carried out an interaction with Mangchung Zimik, Secretary of Tangkhul Katmanao Saklong along with two civil society organisation officials on Monday.

During the interaction, there was a significant flow of views with emphasis on security enhancement and community support amid the ongoing situation in Manipur, the IGAR(S) stated in a release.

The representatives of Naga Federation Student Union also sought swift assistance in provisioning security for the upcoming Naga Students Federation Union wherein upwards of 1,000-2,000 students from Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh are expected to participate. The event will have a series of extravaganzas starting on August 24 till August 26, 2023.

The exchange not only underlined the commitment of Assam Rifles to fostering collaboration but also emphasized their role in holistic development of the people, the IGAR(S) stated.

By facilitating such proactive engagements, the event puts spotlight once again on the organisation’s unwavering dedication to building robust partnerships for the betterment and safety of the region, it stated.
