ANSAM extends Lui-Ngai-Ni 2023 greetings

Lui-Ngai-Ni is a seed-sowing festival of the Nagas celebrated on February 15 every year since 1988 and marks the start of the year for the Nagas and the day is filled with merriment, the ANSAM said.

The All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) extended its "warm  greetings and best wishes" to all the people of Manipur, especially to Nagas on "this happy and auspicious occasion" of Lui-Ngai-Ni, 2023, to be celebrated under the theme “One Culture, One Destiny.”

Lui-Ngai-Ni is a seed-sowing festival of the Nagas celebrated on February 15  every year since 1988 and signifies peace, harmony and humanism for all. This festival heralds the seed-sowing and marks the start of the year for the Nagas and the day is filled with merriment, the ANSAM said.

The Naga student body wishes that the festival brings peace, prosperity and harmony to one and all and promote  peaceful  co-existance  in "our society through dialogue, understanding and unity".
