All arrangements have been set for the upcoming 49th Foundation Day celebration of the All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) slated to be held on Saturday.
The event will be held at Manipur Press Club in Majorkhul, Imphal, stated AMWJU, in a release on Friday. However, the programme will be held in a low-key manner owing to the prevailing situation in the state, it stated.
The Union will also launch its Golden Jubilee year celebrations, marking the completion of 50 years of its establishment on the occasion, it mentioned.
The union urged all the members, associate members, representatives of media houses, editors, founder members, family members of the late journalists, veteran and senior journalists, well-wishers, organisations and associations to take part in the event.
