The All Manipur Recognised Private Schools’ Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) on Saturday held its 20th Foundation Day celebration at the association’s office in Sega Road Top Leirak Machin, Imphal West.

The event was held on the theme ‘Private School Day’ in a low-key manner owing to the prevailing situation in the state, the association stated in a release.
Attendees paid floral tributes to the portraits of the late founding members of the association and also observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed souls, it mentioned.

It also urged the people to strive together to restore peace and normalcy in the state at the earliest.
