Alliance Air on Friday launched a new route connecting Imphal with Tezu Airport in Arunachal Pradesh under the RCS UDAN Scheme.
Member of the Lok Sabha and chairman of the Aerodrome Advisory Committee, Angomcha Bimol Akoijam; Airport Director of Imphal International Airport, AD BCAS, CASO, and Station Managers of all airlines were among those who graced the inaugural flight, stated a release.
It stated that Alliance Air will operate the route with an ATR 72 aircraft, providing service between Tezu and Imphal. It mentioned that the flights will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Arrival at Imphal from Tezu is scheduled for 1400 Hrs, with departure back to Tezu at 1425 Hrs, it noted. It added that the new route is a significant addition to regional connectivity, enhancing accessibility between the two locations.
