AICC election observer for Manipur Pradyut Bordoloi arrives in Imphal

Pradyut met and interacted with MPCC president N Loken Singh, working MPCC president Meghachandra and other senior leaders at Congress Bhavan.

The All Indian Congress Committee (AICC) election observer for Manipur and Member of Parliament Pradyut Bordoloi arrived in Imphal on Tuesday.

Pradyut was warmly received by office bearers of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) at Imphal Airport.

Speaking to the media after landing in Imphal, Pradyut said the Congress party was determined to form the next government after the assembly election in Manipur. 

Mentioning that the Congress lost the opportunity to form the government in a narrow margin in the last state assembly election, he said that the party is pulling its socks up to fight and leaving no stone unturned for the upcoming election.

Pradyut said that he had visited Manipur many times in the past but it is his first visit as AICC election observer.

Later, Pradyut met and interacted with MPCC president N Loken Singh, working MPCC president Meghachandra and other senior leaders at Congress Bhavan.
