The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur on Thursday organised a one-day discussion programme at Guest House Central Agricultural University, Lamphel.
ABVP national organising secretary Ashish Chauhan, in the chair, along with national zonal organising secretary Premlata Maisnam, state president Bhagawat Singh Rajawat; state organising secretary RK Rabichandra Singh, state secretary, ABVP Forums, Dimension and activity in charges and state office Bearers attended the event.
A release by ABVP stated that the meeting discussed current issues of Manipur and ABVP activities also to restore normalcy, Peace and harmony in the state.
Further we discuss the opening of schools and colleges as soon as possible and proper fencing of border areas at the earliest. Lastly, a discussion was held on different issues of Manipur, the ABVP stated.
Ashish Chauhan appealed to the state and central government to take initiative to normalize the situation in Manipur. He also said that the citizens of Manipur should stop using weapons and come forward for talks and assure each other of living together like before the crisis.
