As a part of the World Environment Day 2022 observation on Sunday across the globe with the theme “Only One Earth”, the district police Kakching also observed the day at different police stations and outposts of the district, planning 731 saplings in the process.

During the observation mass tree plantation, cleaning drive at respective police stations and police outposts were held. Moreover, as part of the activity Sharamdan towards cleaning of localities, carrying out awareness rallies in coordination with various local youth clubs, civil society organisations and municipalities and others were also conducted.

About 731 tree saplings were jointly planted at various locations in the district. Wabagai Bazaar Board, Sugnu Municipality, Sugnu Youth Clubs, SAL, KSO Gunpi, KhSO, Zillai, ZYO, Dukanders and others participated in the mass tree plantation and cleanliness activities.
