6th Manipur Rifles personnel dies in Tripura

A personnel of the 6th Manipur Rifles, hailing from Ukhrul district, died in Tripura Hospital where he was rushed to after falling unconscious.

A rifleman of the 6th Manipur Rifles who left the state to attend election duty in Tripura died after falling unconscious on Monday, sources said.

The deceased has been identified as one KS Pamreingam, 35, son of KS Benjamin from Sikibung village under Litan Police Station in Ukhrul district.

After falling unconscious, he was admitted to Agartala Hospital where he died, the sources said.

His body will be transported to Imphal Airport at 2 pm on Tuesday, the sources added.
