As many as 20 suspected 40mm grenades (locally known as ‘Lathode bombs’) were found lying near a road side at Yangbi Primary school under Hiyanglam police station, Kakching district on Saturday at around 6 pm. As per police sources, the bombs were safely disposed of by a team of Bomb Disposal Squad of Manipur Police on Sunday at around 8.05 am at Buffalo Farm Wabagai.
