The accused Nicky Salam, 19, son of Salam Kennedy of Nagamapal Phougeisangbam Leikai, was arrested by Singjamei police for allegedly kidnapping the minor on October 11, 2021 at around 8.30 am from Singjamei Waikhom Leikai.

The court, after hearing the facts and examining the materials found, found prima facie materials suggesting that the accused had committed the offence as alleged.

With these observations, the accused was remanded to police custody for smooth investigation of the case.
