Let us learn from life of Jesus Christ, work together for betterment of entire humanity: President Kovind on eve of Easter

Easter is an occasion to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ that inspires us to follow the path of love, sacrifice and forgiveness, the President wrote in his message.

President Ram Nath Kovind has sent his greetings to all fellow citizens on the eve of Easter and urged all to learn from the life of Jesus Christ and work together for the betterment of entire humanity.

In a message, the President said, “On the auspicious occasion of Easter, I extend my best wishes and heartiest congratulations to all the fellow citizens, especially from Christian community, living in India and abroad. Easter is an occasion to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ that inspires us to follow the path of love, sacrifice and forgiveness. Let us learn from the life of Jesus Christ and work together for the betterment of entire humanity. May this festival re-instil in us the sense of unity and reinforce our commitment to the well-being and prosperity of our nation”.

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu also greeted the people of the nation on the eve of Easter and said the solemn occasion of Easter reminds the people that love is stronger than hatred and that virtue will always win over evil.

"I convey my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Easter, marking the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ. The solemn occasion of Easter reminds the people that love is stronger than hatred and that virtue will always win over evil. Let us celebrate Easter by being compassionate towards all human beings. May this day bring peace and harmony in our lives," the vice president said in his message.
