Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who was tested for COVID-19 for the second time on Wednesday, has got the coronavirus infection, official sources said.
The health minister was tested for the second time on Wednesday as he continued to suffer from high fever though he tested negative for coronavirus on Tuesday.
Jain was rushed to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital on Tuesday after he developed COVID-19 like symptoms, such as high fever and difficulty in breathing. Early in the day, though he continued to have high fever, the health authorities said that his condition was stable.
However, the test result which came in the evening confirmed the minister being infected by the disease, according to reports.
