Bengaluru tops NewsOnAir rankings among major cities in India

In the top city featured in latest NewsOnAir rankings, Bengaluru, popular All India Radio live-streams are Vividh Bharati National, Rainbow Kannada Kaamanbilu, VB Kannada, AIR Dharwad, AIR Karnataka, AIR Mysuru, FM Gold Delhi, FM Rainbow Delhi, AIR News 24x7 and AIR Kannada.

Bengaluru has pushed over Pune to take the top spot in the latest rankings of top cities in India where All India Radio Live-streams on NewsOnAir App are most popular, while Jaipur has made a comeback by displacing Kolkata from the top list, the Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry said.

The ministry said in a release that the rankings are based on data from March 1 to March 31, 2022.

It said that the listenership of All India Radio live-streams on NewsOnAir App has seen a jump of 2 million over a period of just one month. Listenership of All India Radio streams witnessed a rise from 17 million in February 2022 to 19 million in March 2022. The cumulative listenership for the first quarter in 2022 stood at 56 million.

In the top city featured in latest NewsOnAir rankings, Bengaluru, popular All India Radio live-streams are Vividh Bharati National, Rainbow Kannada Kaamanbilu, VB Kannada, AIR Dharwad, AIR Karnataka, AIR Mysuru, FM Gold Delhi, FM Rainbow Delhi, AIR News 24x7 and AIR Kannada.

In major changes in rankings of top AIR Streams in India, AIR Kerala and Vividh Bharati Malayalam have entered top 10, while AIR Odia and AIR Kochi FM Rainbow are out.

More than 240 Radio Services of All India Radio are live-streamed on NewsOnAir App, Prasar Bharati’s official App. These All India Radio Streams on NewsOnAir App have a large number of listeners not just in India, but globally, in more than 85 countries across the globe.
