Priyanka Gandhi said she has quarantined herself at home

A day after her mother and party president Sonia Gandhi tested positive for COVID-19, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said she has tested positive for the viral infection.

Taking to Twitter, Priyanka Gandhi said she has quarantined herself at home

"I've tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms. Following all the protocols, I have quarantined myself at home. I would request those who came in contact with me to take all necessary precautions," Priyanka Gandhi said.

On Thursday, Congress president Sonia Gandhi had tested positive for COVID-19.  She had developed mild fever and COVID-19 symptoms on Wednesday evening. However, she is fine and has isolated herself, the party general secretary and member of the Congress Working Committee Randeep Singh Surjewala informed.
