Sunny Leone is expected to be the showstopper of a fashion event organised by House of Ali to promote handloom, khadi and tourism. The fashion event is scheduled to be held at Hapta Kangjeibung later in the evening. 

As per sources, preparation work for the fashion show has been started at Hotel Imolesh at Old Lambuland Road in Imphal West. 

However, after reportedly receiving a threat to stop the fashion show from a suspected UG group, the event is being cancelled, the sources added. 

It may be mentioned that the deputy commissioner, Imphal East, had on Saturday cancelled the permit issued to organise the fashion event after a bomb exploded at the venue early Saturday.
