A felicitation-cum-thanksgiving programme for successful students of class XI and XII of Conflate Academy, Tuibong was held at One Life Asia Hall, Rangkai Road in Churachandpur district on Friday.
The academy witnessed 100 per cent success in the recent class XII examination with an accumulated percentage of 70 per cent.
During the felicitation programme, the students were presented with citations by the academy’s administration led by director T Paungam Haokip.
The felicitation programme was attended by the academy’s board of director, retired Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) J Lundim as the special guest, teachers and staff along with the parents and guardians of the students.
On the occasion, the special guest recalled his experience in attempting for civil services and his IDAS success after four UPSC interviews. He encouraged the students to set a goal and fight for their goals.
Conflate Academy director T Paongam Haokip commended the students for their performance. The programme concluded with the students presenting a thanksgiving gift to the director, teachers and staff of the academy.
The academy, which started in 2019, is the first institute that focused only on science stream for class XI and XII students. The school accepts students who scored more than 80 per cent in their Class X examination.
