Students union urges government to lift internet ban

It drew the attention of the authorities to lift the internet ban in the state to facilitate the students in attaining various educational and career opportunities.

The Manipur Youth and Student’s Union (MYSU) on Wednesday appealed to the authorities concerned to lift the ban on internet in the state for the sake of the students.

Saying that after COVID-19 pandemic, internet ban in the state has caused immense difficulties for students in the state, the MYSU drew the attention of the authorities to lift the internet ban in the state to facilitate the students in attaining various opportunities such as online classes and examination applications.

It also appealed to all to strive together to restore peace and unity among the diverse communities in the state.
