Students registered in BOSEM, COHSEM eligible to apply online for examinations

Manipur Education Minister Rajen said that owing to the ongoing pandemic, COHSEM and BOSEM are open online to accept application forms for class X and class XII examinations.

Issuing a clarification on online registration of class X and class XII examinations under the state board and council of education, Education Minister Sorokhaibam Rajen said that students who have enrolled in their schools and registered in BOSEM and COHSEM are eligible to apply for online registration for the examinations.

In a press conference held at his office chamber of Secretariat on Thursday, Rajen said that owing to the ongoing pandemic, COHSEM and BOSEM are open online to accept application forms for class X and class XII examinations. The authority concerned has received complaints from various schools in connection with students not able to apply in time due to various inconveniences.

Concerning such complaints, COHSEM and BOSEM have extended the deadline for online submission of application forms concerning the students who have missed to register for the class X and class XII examinations. In the meantime, the authority concerned would also like to clarify that the students who got enrolled in their schools and registered in COHSEM and BOSEM or who have failed in 2019-2020 examinations are only allowed to register for the examinations during the re-opening date, he clarified.

Stating the re-scheduled dates for the online forms submission, he said that for COHSEM, it should be submitted within July 13 to July 17, and within July 13 to July 16 for BOSEM.
