Speaking on the sideline of the seminar, chairman of Nefsa Education Consultancy, SR Khan, said that most of the students, after passing Class 12 examination, are confused when it comes to further studies or choosing a career. Sometimes, students fail to succeed in their lives after choosing the wrong path though they have much potential, he added.

To overcome such issues and educate the students on choosing the right career for them, the seminar was being organised. During the seminar four resource persons spoke on how to choose a career by going to the right stream and the likes, he added.

He said that in Manipur most of the students, after passing Class 12 examination, choose medical or engineering lines for further studies. However, there are many scopes for students to choose their career depending on the area of interest and when a student failed to identify their area of interest then there is a high possibility of not succeeding, he said.

Over 400 students from different schools attended the seminar, informed Khan.
