The never-ending issues of Dhanamanjuri University (DMU) surfaced once again on Thursday when irate students stormed the administrative block, decrying the delay of university exams and confusion over the mode of exam conduct.

The students protested by burning benches in front of the administrative office; the students also held several placards decrying the authorities’ negligence.

The students maintained that their incessant demands regarding the matter, the university authorities had shrugged it off.

Speaking to media on the sidelines of the protest, a student demanded equal mode of examination for all students of the university.

“Several resolutions were taken during an academic council meeting held without the knowledge of key authorities on the university including the dean. The resolutions has been kept under the carpet,” he said.

He maintained that such reckless actions of the authorities, despite several protests from the students, fumed the protest on Thursday.

He also alleged that there were biases in mode of the exam conduct in terms of the student ratio required to give the exams offline and online from designated centres.

As such, the students issued a stern warning to university authorities to resolve the issue and usher an amicable solution swiftly.

He maintained that all affiliate colleges of the university would be shut down if they failed to fulfill the demands.
