The Manipur government has declared closure of all schools of the state including government, government aided, private and central schools on Monday and Tuesday.
Director of Education (S), Manipur, L Nandakumar Singh, informed the same in a latest order on Sunday.
The same is issued in continuation of the office order of even number dated September 6, with the approval of the government, it stated.
It also directed All Zonal Education Officers under the Department of Education-Schools, Manipur to inform all concerned under their jurisdiction and take up necessary actions accordingly.
It may be mentioned that the Directorate of Education (S), Government of Manipur on Friday had informed that all government schools, government aided, private and central Schools of the state will remain closed on Saturday in view of the unrest and prevailing situation in the state and keeping in mind the safety of the students and teachers.
