School announces free admission for displaced students in violence-hit Manipur

UNACCO School said it will provide free admission for present academic session for both school and hostel for displaced students.

UNNACO school has announced free admission for students who are displaced in the recent communal clash in an effort to reduce dropout rate in the state.

Meeting mediapersons at its school premises located at Meitram Imphal West, UNACCO school chairman N Irabanta on Tuesday said, due to the ongoing ethnic communal clash in various parts of the state many people, including students have been displaced from their homes.

UNACCO will provide free admission for present academic session for both school and hostel for displaced students. He said students will be exempted two-month tuition fees for May and June.

Irabanta said UNACCO is also opening a college for degree course from the present academic
session. Affiliation process of the college to Manipur University has been started, he added.
