Prohibitory orders imposed ahead of class 12 exam in Thoubal

The order will come into force from February 23 to March 5 with timings from 8 am to 5 pm

District Magistrate, Thoubal, has imposed curfew under Section 144 CrPC, 1973 in 21 examination centres located within the jurisdiction of Thoubal district for the upcoming Higher Secondary Examinations, 2023.

The orders further prohibited assembly of five or more persons, carrying of lethal weapons such as sticks, stone, firearms, etc. within a periphery of 100 metres from the examination centres on all exam days.

The order will come into force from February 23 to March 5 with timings from 8 am to 5 pm

The order further appealed to all the examination centres to make all necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of the examination in a peaceful and transparent manner and to extend all possible help to the concerned officers-in-charge of the examination centres.

The order stated that the order will not apply to the teachers, students and government officials or machineries involved in the conduct of the examination, the order will also not apply to individuals with specific permits issued by DC and SP of Thoubal district.
