A month after the state government mandated five working days in a week for government employees, Manipur University, which is a central university, has also adopted the same and employees of the university will work only five days in a week.

Deputy Registrar of the university, RK Joteen issued an order in this regard on Saturday wherein it said that the model will be effective from May until further orders.
