MTI Hub conducts roadshow on Startup

IIIT Mantripukhri director Prof Krishnan Baskar urged students to take the opportunity that MTI Hub has to offer.

As a part of the ongoing Startup Roadshow by the Manipur Technology Innovation Hub (MTI HUB), its management team held an interaction with students and teaching staff of IIIT Mantripukhri.

IIIT Mantripukhri director Prof Krishnan Baskar in his keynote speech stressed the digital revolution the country has witnessed in the last few years. And, asked students to take the opportunity that MTI Hub has to offer.

Dr Rajiv, who is the manager of the centre, stated that KIIT TBI will be part of the Startup ecosystem created by the state government.

Malay Mohapatra who is the programme manager further said MTI HUB is equipped with one of the finest incubation labs where students are given hands-on structured and systematic mentoring by subject experts. 

MTI HUB plans to replicate a similar approach here with various programmes which will immensely benefit Startups from the region, Mohapatra added.

He further said MTI HUB is well aligned with a call for Make in India where students, scientists, and researchers are encouraged to harness the power of science and technology and create their own products for the advancement of the region.

MTI HUB situated at IT park Mantripukhri is an initiative of the Government of Manipur's Department of Information Technology implemented by KIIT-TBI Bhubaneshwar. One of India's largest incubators, MTI HUB provides end-to-end 360-degree incubation solutions for Startups primarily from Electronics and IT space.
