The Directorate of Education (Schools), Government of Manipur on Thursday notified that the school hours of the State Government/Aided /Private schools across the state will start at 8 am with effect from April 1, until further orders.
The notification is issued in pursuance of Secretariat: General Administrative department, government of Manipur Notification No. 153/3/2022-GAD, dated March 26 and approval of the Secretariat Education (S) department, government of Manipur conveyed vide letter No. DAB/1/2022-EDN(S) dated March 31, Directorate of Education (S) stated in a notification issued by its director L Nandakumar Singh.
As per the notification, the school timing for Pre-Primary classes is from 8 am till 10 am. It will be from 8 am till 12.30 pm for Primary (I-V); 8 am till 1:15 pm for Upper Primary (VI-VIII) and 8 am till 2:15 pm for Secondary and Higher Secondary (IX-XII ), it added.
