Education (S) Director, L Nandakumar Singh, in a latest order informed that all schools of the state, Government, Government Aided, Private and Central Schools, located in valley districts will continue to remain closed from Wednesday onwards until further orders.

It also directed all Zonal Education Officers under the Department of Education-Schools, Manipur to inform all concerned under their jurisdiction and take up necessary actions accordingly.

The order is issued in continuation of the office order dated November 24, with the approval of the Government conveying the advice of the Home Department vide letter no A5/10/2024-EDN(S)-EDN(S) dated November 26, it mentioned.

Meanwhile, a latest order issued by joint Secretary (Hr. & Tech. Edn), Government of Manipur, Daryal Juli Anal, also said that all Government Educational Institutions/Government Aided Colleges under Higher & Technical Education Department, Government of Manipur including State Universities located in the Districts where curfew has been imposed by District Magistrate will continue to be closed with effect from Wednesday until further orders.

The same is issued in pursuance of decision taken by the Home Department, Government of Maripur, it added.
