A student group conducted inspection drive at various examination centres in Kakching regarding the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) class 10 exams, and found parents, guardians and invigilators encouraging students in mass copying on Monday.
The Reformist Students’ Front (RSF) stated in a release that it conducted inspection drives at various exam centres in the state, during which, students taking their exams at Lalit Madhob Sharma High School, Khongjom School Centre were found to be using crib sheets and openly copying from one another.

The parents and guardians were found passing notes and answer sheets from the classroom window to their wards, it stated. Rather than looking after the conduct of the students, the invigilators and OC were encouraging the mass copying, RSF stated.
Meanwhile, centres including Wangjing High School, Wangjing; Eureka High School, Khongjom; Martin Grammar School, Kakching; Victory High School, Kakching; and Kakching Higher Secondary School were found to be maintaining the proper decorum of the examination, it mentioned.

Drawing the attention of the authorities concerned regarding the illicit conduct, RSF appealed for necessary actions to be taken against the respective OCs and invigilators.
