Liangmai bodies mourn demise of former BOSEM chairman Nabachandra

Nabachandra was responsible for bringing HSLC examination centre at Tamei in 1995: Liangmai organisations.

Liangmai organisations in Manipur mourned the demise of N Nabachandra, former chairman of BOSEM.

In a joint statement, the Education department of Liangmai Naga Baptist Association, Manipur (LNBA-M) and the Liangmai Literature Society, Manipur (LLSM) said that Nabachandra was responsible for bringing HSLC examination centre at Tamei in 1995.

The Liangmai bodies further said that Nabachandra’s contributions for the welfare of the people were praiseworthy.

“He will be remembered by Liangmai people with love and respect,” the two Liangmai organizations added in the joint statement signed by Dr Hunibou Newmai, Education Director of LNBA-M and Adibo Newmei, Chairman of LLSM.

They also said that the demise of Nabachandra was a great loss for the people of Manipur. The two Liangmai organizations then shared the pains and sorrows of the bereaved family members.
