KSO secretary Minlal Gangte said that the student body never wanted to disturb the functioning of the school. However, after finding that students from outside the district have fraudulently applied for admission through the unscrupulous school headmaster, the action to lock the school was taken.

The misconduct in the admission procedure of students in JNV has been happening since the last many years. This time, out of the 80 seats allocated for students in Churachandpur, 33 students from other districts were given admission in the school, he added.
