With the motive to give quality time to students and interaction among parents, the JJ School Montessori on Saturday organised a one-day “Annual Winter Carnival 2022” at the community ground opposite to the school at Ghari Awang Leikai in Imphal West.
During the carnival, teachers of the school opened various food stalls of different cuisines besides organising various games for kids, tambola, installing photo booths and others.
Speaking to the media, Jenny, a teacher, said the carnival is a kind of enthusiastic co-curricular activity for the students to refresh their minds from being confined in their academic activities.
Nevertheless, it also provides opportunities to the parents to mingle among themselves informally as well as gives a platform for a quality family outing, she added.
Before the COVID pandemic, the carnival was organised annually inside the school campus. Saturday's carnival was the first which was organised outside the school campus in a grand manner with many attractions.
