A release stated, the chief minister on February 11 announced that the state cabinet approved 7th Pay of the government college teachers on the lines of ROP 2019. The CM also announced the cabinet approval of UGC Regulations, 2018. However, no orders have been issued after three months and twelve days of the approval, it contended.

While pointing out that the salary bill of 7th pay for other employees of Manipur government is prepared in May, 2020, it stated that FEGOCTA will not accept the discrimination towards the college teachers by leaving them alone in 7th pay implementation.
