Dhanamanjuri University, Manipur has invited applications for the post of Vice-Chancellor of the University.
As per the latest statement from DMU Registrar, Nivedita Lairenlakpam, the Advertisement, format of application, salary, service conditions and other details are available on the University website ‘www.dmu.ac.in.’
It stated that the Vice-Chancellor to be appointed must have a visionary with proven leadership qualities, administrative capabilities as well as teaching and research credentials, being the academic as well as administrative head.
He/she should have outstanding academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years experience as Professor in a University or 10 years of experience in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organisation with proof of having demonstrated academic leadership, it asserted.
Applicants should not be more than 65 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of applications of this advertisement, it stated.
It added that the applications in the prescribed proforma should be super-scribed on the sealed envelope and reach on or before 4.30 pm of August 9 by Registered/Speed Post to Office of the Registrar, Dhanamanjuri University, Administrative Block-DMU, DM Campus, Thangmeiband, Imphal West, Manipur, 795001.
