The Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) urged the authority of Manipur University of Culture (MUC) to convene a meeting of the academic council to resolve the prevailing admission imbroglio plaguing the varsity.
The present issue of the MUC is getting more complicated thereby putting at stake the career of many students who are seeking admission for MA course in the varsity, a release issued by DESAM stated.
In order to resolve the issue, there is an urgent need to cancel all the earlier admission and start a new process without any bias, it stated.
DESAM also appealed to the authority of the MUC to make a new prospectus to allow the graduates from Government Dance College, SSBD Music College and JNMDA to admit in the MA course of the varsity.
