The Golden Jubilee Continuing Dental Education (CDE) series on dental trauma on Sunday was held at the jubilee hall of RIMS.
RIMS director A Santa said that the CDE series will immensely be beneficial for the faculty especially in the area of dental trauma management.
Moreover, the students will learn a lot from the CDE series too, the director said, adding that many expensive and sophisticated types of equipment have already started to be installed in RIMS Trauma Centre. Many more are in the pipeline, Santa added.
He further said that the institutie is seriously thinking of having a separate trauma unit of dental college in consultation with the concerned department very soon. He appreciated the faculty members of the dental college for contributing a lot during the COVID-19 pandemic as COVID warriors.
The ceremony was attended by medical superintendent RIMS, N Sanjib; ISDT vice president MS Muthu; ISDT general secretary Nitesh Tewer.
