The district magistrate, Bishnupur on Thursday imposed restrictions in and around 100 meters of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Bishnupur in connection with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examination, 2022 which began on April 26.

An order issued by district magistrate of Bishnupur stated that during the examination which will conclude on June 15, there is likelihood of anti-social elements creating law and order problems thereby disturbing smooth conduct of free and fair examination in the district.  

It stated that the restrictions includes entry of any vehicle and person carrying arms, daos, swords, knives, heavy iron bars pointed or blunt, other lethal weapons and any other unauthorised persons within the said areas.

However, the order will not apply to the candidates, officials and vehicles authorised by the CBSE, plying of vehicles along the route and such other persons as the District Magistrate may from time to time admit for assisting in conduct of the examination, it mentioned. 

The order is passed ex-parte in view of urgency of the case and this order will remain in force with immediate effect till the completion of the examination, it added.
