Kangpokpi JNV Selected Candidates Guardian Association on Saturday demanded admission of the selected students to JNV of Imphal East or West, alleging that the Kangpokpi ZEO refused to countersign the admission forms of the students whose permanent addresses are not from Kangpokpi district.

Speaking to the media at Manipur Press Club in Imphal, secretary of the association Kh Ratan said that the schooling of their children were done in Kangpokpi district and they were also selected in the entrance examination of the JNV Kangpokpi.

However, when they approached the ZEO Kangpokpi for counter-signing on the form for admission, the ZEO refused to give his signature stating that there will be no admission to JNV Kangpokpi for students from other districts, he alleged.
