Paite Officer’s Forum donates Rs 1 lakh to Churachandpur district hospital

The POF team appreciated and thanked the healthcare workers for the tireless efforts during this crucial time of pandemic.

Providing monetary aid in the fight against COVID-19, the Paite Officer’s Forum (POF), Imphal on Saturday donated Rs 1 lakh to District Hospital Churachandpur.

A cheque of Rs 1 lakh was handed over to the district hospital medical superintendent, Dr Vanlalkungi, by POF chairman Khamsuanmung Tombing.

Tombing and his colleagues said that the monetary assistance has been extended by the forum so that it can be helpful to the patients in the Dedicated COVID Health Centre (DCHC) of the district hospital.

The POF team also appreciated and thanked the healthcare workers for the tireless efforts during this crucial time of pandemic.

As per reports from IDPS, CMO Churachandpur, in the last 24 hours the district recorded 81 fresh COVID-19 positive cases (38 males and 43 females) with two deaths at DCHC of the district hospital. So far in the month of July, there have been 657 COVID-19 positive cases in Churachandpur district with more infections among women and recorded eight deaths (five males and 3 females).
