One more tests COVID-19 positive in Manipur's Imphal East
Imphal West is the worst COVID-hit district in Manipur with as many as 48,747 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 704 deaths.

One more person from Imphal East district tested COVID-19 on Monday, taking the state's COVID-19 tally to 1,37,227, official sources said.
A total of 91 COVID-19 tests were conducted in 24 hours and the day's positivity rate is 1.1 per cent. Manipur has so far conducted 16,10,711 cumulative COVID-19 tests.
The state's COVID-19 death toll remained at 2,120 with no new death fatality.
Among the 16 districts of Manipur, Imphal West is the worst COVID-hit district with as many as 48,747 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 704 deaths, followed by Imphal East with 30,447 cases and 511 deaths and Churachandpur with 11,054 cases and 168 deaths, the sources said.
No COVID-19 death has been reported in Pherzawl district since the outbreak of the pandemic. The district has reported a total of 465 confirmed COVID-19 cases, the sources added.
According to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room, no COVID-19 recovery was reported in the state in 24 hours. Hence, the number of recovered cases is 1,35,100. The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has seven COVID-19 active cases, as per the release.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 28,57,001 (first dose: 15,59,794 second dose: 12,09,646 precautionary dose: 87,561).
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.69 per cent and for the second dose is 51.49 per cent, it mentioned.
Meanwhile, a total of 208 oxygen cylinders and 19 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.
