One dies of COVID-19 in Meghalaya

So far, a total of 92,991 COVID-19 cases have been detected in the state out of which , 751 are active cases.

Meghalaya recorded 1 COVID-19 death on Sunday taking the number of fatalities to 1,562 even as 58 more tested positive for the virus and the total active cases now stand at 751.

The fresh cases include 21 from East Khasi Hills, 14 West Garo Hills, 6 North Garo Hills, 5 South West Garo Hills, 4 West Jaintia Hills, 3 Ri Bhoi, 1 Eastern West Khasi Hills, and 1 West Khasi Hills.

A total of 156 persons have recovered from the viral infection.

So far, a total of 92,991 COVID-19 cases have been detected in the state out of which  751  are active cases, 90,678 recovered while there have been 1,562 deaths.

East Khasi Hills has the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 282  followed by West Garo Hills 116, Ri Bhoi 99, West Jaintia Hills 86, Eastern West Khasi Hills 28, North Garo Hills 28, West Khasi Hills 25, East Garo Hills 22, South West Garo Hills 22, East Jaintia Hills 18, South West Khasi Hills 13 and South Garo Hills 12.
