One die, 32 more test positive for COVID-19 in Manipur

The cumulative COVID-19 positive number in the state reached 1,36,835, while the death toll touched 2,113 as of Tuesday.

One died and 32 more tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur on Tuesday, according to official sources.

According to the latest update by the state Health department, the cumulative COVID-19 positive number in the state reached 1,36,835, while the death toll touched 2,113 as of Tuesday.

So far, a total of 15,76,091 COVID-19 tests have been conducted across the state, with 1,397 test results recieved on Tuesday.

Of the new COVID-19 positive cases detected on Tuesday, 12 were from Imphal West, four each from Imphal East and Chandel, two each from Thoubal and Kangpokpi and one each from Churachandpur, Kakching, Senapati, Tamenglong, Tengnoupal and Ukhrul.

Consequently, the state's Covid-19 positivity rate stood at 2.3 per cent. 

One death was reported from Tengnoupal.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 patients on home isolation reached 65,669.
