Manipur on Sunday recorded zero new COVID-19 positive cases, confining the state's tally at 1,37,236 and the death toll also remained at 2,120 with zero new fatality, according to the latest update by the state health department.

The total number of people who have been administered the COVID-19 vaccine in Manipur has reached 28,95,629 (first dose: 15,69,285 second dose: 12,29,847 precautionary dose: 96,497).

According to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room, the state reported zero new recovery, confining the number of recovered cases at 1,35,110. The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has six COVID-19 active cases.
Meanwhile, a total of 100 oxygen cylinders and six B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 28,95,629 (first dose: 15,69,285 second dose: 12,29,847 precautionary dose: 96,497).
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.87 per cent and for the second dose is 52.18 per cent, it mentioned.
