No COVID-19 death reported in Manipur for three months

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the COVID-19 vaccine in Manipur has reached 29,24,851 (first dose: 15,79,370 second dose: 12,43,735 precautionary dose: 1,01,746).

Manipur has reported zero COVID-19 related death for almost three months. No COVID-19 has been reported since March 18 while the state continued to witness a downtrend in the number of daily positive cases.

No new COVID-19 case or death was reported in the state on Tuesday, confining the state's total positive case at 1,37,243 and the death toll at 2,120, according to the latest update by the state health department.

A total of 73 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Tuesday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,13,803 COVID-19 tests.

Zero new COVID-19 recovery was also recorded in the state on Tuesday. The number of recovered cases stood at 1,35,121 and the recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has two COVID-19 active cases, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.

Meanwhile, a total of 100 oxygen cylinders and 14 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of June 13.

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 29,24,851 (first dose: 15,79,370 second dose: 12,43,735 precautionary dose: 1,01,746).

The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.92 per cent and for the second dose is 52.66 per cent, it mentioned.
